With the growing trend and number of larger family cars on our roads, it is natural that their owners are looking for a way to increase the capacity of the luggage compartment or a way to transport their four-legged family members. As an alternative to a roof box, TowBoxes are becoming a much more practical solution for users.
If you own a van of any size and need more luggage space, we have the solution for you. The TowBox Camper V3 is a new leisure concept that we are launching in the official dealership as the TowBox Camper V3 towbar luggage box. The Camper provides 400 liters of extra luggage space in the rear of the vehicle.

Towbox V3 CAMPER - luggage carrier specially designed for vans
TOWBOX V3 CAMPER is a unique version of the box specially developed for the MPV segment and vans of all sizes, with a hinged lid or side box rear doors.
The robust support structure has an integrated extendable console that allows the box on the towbar to be tilted to the side in a 180° radius, allowing trouble-free access to the vehicle's luggage compartment.
A special design feature is the maneuvering wheel on the bottom of the box. This wheel is integrated into the box structure for quick and easy maneuverability, while at the same time, thanks to a double safety lock, the wheel is protected against unwanted extension and maneuvering of the box.
Every TowBox is also equipped with wheels for easy operation and maneuvering to the car, in the parking lot, to the hotel, etc.
It is the ideal solution for van owners of all sizes and types of rear door openings, available in SHORT and LONG sizes.
The Camper has integrated LED lighting, with the turn signals featuring a series of progressive LED bulbs that stylishly imitate the effect of light-emitting diodes.
Towbox V3 CAMPER is compatible with any type of electrical kit and therefore the product can be safely used with older cars.
Quick and convenient installation on the tow ball and the box's position in the lee of the car, where there is no aerodynamic resistance and increased car consumption, or disturbing noises.

There are several types of luggage carriers, whether it's a roof box (for different types of roof bars depending on the vehicle model), or a rear luggage box with towball mounting, such as the TowBox.

The additional fuel consumption measured on a Volkswagen Touran TDI model was only 6% with the TowBox, while the roof box increased consumption by 18%. The TowBox significantly reduces the additional fuel consumption compared to the roof box, by up to 3 times(!)
The Volvo C40 Recharge electric car was driven over the same route with three different combinations. While with the tow box installed the consumption was 19.9 kWh/100 km, with the roof box it was up to 24.1 kWh, which is 22% more.
