- The PROUSER Diamant FG2 PLUS is designed specifically for MPVs and vans with large tailgates. It's a twin model for the Pro-User Diamant FG2 trunk , but thanks to the modified construction, the carrier's pivot point is positioned 11 cm further away from the vehicle, allowing the tailgate to still be opened even with bicycles on the carrier.
- The required clearance from the top of the tow ball to the bottom edge of the tailgate must be at least 3 cm. This space is needed for attaching this Pro User bike carrier. With other brands, this is usually higher.
- It guarantees quick and easy towbar mounting, thanks to the patented quick-release system, and secure bike attachment. In just a few simple steps , it folds down to a cube the size of a suitcase – these are just a few of its many advantages and features.
- Wide wheel supports are standard, meaning they now accommodate tires up to 3.25 inches wide.
- The FG2 PLUS uses a 30 mm diameter vertical bow tube instead of 25 mm as in the TG model.

SLIDING MECHANISM
The FG2 Plus features a base that is 11 cm longer. This extension is measured from the towbar coupling to the pivot point where the bike carrier tilts. This creates sufficient space to open the tailgate of the van.
Additionally, the first bicycle is positioned further away from the tailgate, creating extra space between the handlebars and the flat rear of the van. This prevents the handlebars from hitting the tailgate.
The FG2 Plus is fitted with wide wheel stoppers as standard. Optionally available for this bike carrier is the bike adapter for a 3rd bike (Art. No. 91749), drive-up ramp (Art. No. 91750) and storage cover (Art. No. 91768 - please, note that exclusive offer from TAKERA includes the cover bag free of charge).

For vans that do not have a tailgate but two doors, we recommend a retractable bike carrier, such as the Spinder SC2 or SL3 . With a retractable carrier, however, the doors can be opened completely, even with bikes on the carrier.
